I am exhausted.

We spent yesterday sailing, this time with an actual destination. We went to The Captain's Inn - a little bar up Forked River that we've driven to many times, but this was the first time we'd sailed there. And we actually docked! It was very exciting. We celebrated with drinks - I, after having the craving for weeks, finally got my Malibu Bay Breeze, my Mom had a Piña Colada. We wanted more, but couldn't because we had to sail back of course. To make up for it I made mudslides when we got back.

My Mom and I spent the day looking for furniture for me - a complete failure. I did fall in love with a dresser but the price was way out of our budget. It was part of a 3 piece $3,000 set, so we guestimated the price being aroun $600-$800. But it was beautiful, and nearly perfect dimensions. It was a little too deep, but I could've lived with that. Anyway, I'm going to look at an unfinished wood furniture store on Thursday with my Dad. Supposedly the place will finish it for you, for a fee. If not, I'm probably gonna get some crappy furniture from Sear's web page, but it's the style I like and it is fairly temporary.

The Passat is having serious problems, and at the moment is undriveable. Very annoying. The 'rents are having a huge fight with Volkswagon over it - turns out Volkswagon removed one of two plates which holds the engine in place. If the car's driven "undelicately" the engine could fall onto the axel (joy!). We've obviously gone to a second mechanic, who actually is on Valley Road, to deal with fixing what the dealer fucked. Basically the car won't be copacetic until I'm done with it :-P

Supposedly Pete and I are seeing The Devil's Rejects tonight. He's supposed to be here in an hour. We'll see if it actually happens.

I'm working Ozzfest tomorrow and Wednesday. That will definitely be an experience. 12 hours both days. I'm getting so much overtime this week I might cum in my pants when I get my check, next week, lol!

It's pretty much definite I'm going to the Keys for Christmas break with the family. I'm really excited - I haven't been to a tropical island since I was like... 1, lol.

Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
